August Rud Jacobsen

My research is on the political economy of the green transition in Europe with a particular focus on how the decarbonization of industrial value chains are changing European state-society relations. Prior to coming to Berkeley, I worked at the EFTA Secretariat in Brussels leading a team supporting the governing bodies of the EEA Agreement. I look forward to using theories of political economy to help theorize European industrial strategies and their ecological impact.
